The Ibaraki International Association is sponsoring a speech contest to provide an opportunity for Japanese speaking foreign residents of Ibaraki prefecture to express their true feelings and impressions of Japan, or talk about their home countries.
Other than political, commercial or religious themes, any subject that deepens global understanding is permitted. We look forward to your participation!

WHERE: Kenmin Bunka Center, Shou hall
Speech length: 5 minutes
Theme: Any subject that deepens global understanding, other than political, or religious themes.
Deadline: December 11th (Tue) 2018
Along with this application form, please also submit a copy of your speech, as well as recoding of your speech in the form of a cassette or CD. You may also submit it as an E-mail attachment; however, this file MUST be a MP3, M4A or other Windows Media Olayer compatible audio file.
Who: A maximum of 15 Japanese-speaking foreign residents of Ibaraki prefecture, who have never attended Japanese elementary or middle school, may participate. In the event there are more than 15 applicants, the organizing committee will select participants based on the central points of their speeches.
県内で生活している外国人の皆さんが、日頃考えていることや、日本・茨城の印象、母国の話など、国際理解を深めるテーマについて発表できる絶好のチャンスです。
