Mito City International Association (MCIA) and the Japanese language class, “L’avenir” will host an international party. Japanese traditional music performance and a lot of food are waiting for you. Please come and join the party!
What is Otsukimi?
Otsukimi (the night of the full moon of August 15 by the lunar calendar) is the custom of moon viewing. Japanese pampas grass and seasonal fruits are set out by the window as offerings while people appreciate the full moon.
