Japanese Culture Workshop 〜Ume dyeing〜

Join us for our workshop!
We are offering a Japanese traditional arts textile workshop using dye from the plum tree. “Ume dyeing” uses a natural dye made from ume branches from Kairakuen Garden. Kairakuen is famous for plum blossom viewing in Mito. This is a unique workshop offered one day only on Febrauary 4th. Don’t miss it!

The workshop is especially for foreign residents. Please bring your family and friends.
Japanese citizens are also welcome. Contact us if you have any questions.

1,000 yen /person

To Sign Up :
1. Please register in person at Mito International Center from January 13^th Saturday 2024 at 9am. Please pay the 1000 yen fee when applying at the center.
2. When you apply by phone, E-mail or Fax, please provide your name and phone number. Advance payment is required. Please visit the center and pay at the counter.
