Disaster Study Tour for Foreign Residents

We’re going to “Sona Area Tokyo,” a disaster preparedness experience facility in Tokyo.
This facility features a realistic recreation of Tokyo after a major earthquake directly beneath the capital.
You can experience evacuating to a safe place after a major earthquake.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the “Great Antarctic Exhibition” at the “National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan).” Here, you can experience an Antarctic blizzard.
25 people (first come, first served). Priority will be given to foreign residents. Japanese residents are also welcome to participate.
(Japanese applicants will be placed on a waiting list. We will contact you after July 24th regarding your participation.)
Participation Fee: Adults: ¥2,000, Under 18: \1,300, Children under school age: \900 (Included: Charter Bus Cost / Travel Insurance / Admission Fee for “The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation”)
Application: Friday, July 3rd, 2026, from 9:00 AM to Thursday, July 30th, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Please come to the Mito International Center counter to pay your participation fee.
